It was good to add some more km’s (3km each way out and back) but it wasn’t too special so wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. Great day trip from Melbourne! Really nice walk - definitely recommend doing it anticlockwise. Admire the new boardwalk at Monkey Beach which was recently upgraded to protect many hundreds of years of memories for the Woppaburra people. There are some very steep climbs, and a small section where you have to go over a bit of water (just a few feet, like 2cm deep). The waterfall is absolutely beautiful! It seemed the elevation was much more varied going back down from the lookout but the waterfall at the end was a nice reward. Moderate hiking level, it took 1 hour 20 minutes to walk up from the car park to Keppells Lookout. Really great couple of spots for views along the track and also wasn't too trafficked.
