Parking was a bit confusing as they are encouraging you use valet instead of self park and room was ridiculously hot (room temp was in the high 80’s) which probably happened because staff didn’t check room prior to my arrival which was very late in the day. The breakfast they offered in the morning was the nicest hotel breakfast I've had. We explained our situation to them and they let us stay and we’re very accommodating!
Food well prepared when I did order, bar selections not quite up to par. My 8 year old son called it the "Best Hotel Ever". We sincerely want to thank you for being our guest. All in all, it is obvious that we have not scored a very "high grade" with you in regard to this situation, and we know that your confidence in our ability to serve you has been shaken. Great hotel very conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and bars. They'll find you an incredible place to stay. My visit to Royal Oak, Michigan was to visit my daughter & family. I didnt tour the rest of the property however they offer valet which was nice.
As a Hyatt Place, we strive to provide our guests with an uncomplicated experience where they can enjoy complimentary breakfast, and food options 24 hours a day. Room was very clean and large. Great for getting a lift to the music theatre, the zoo, or even Home Depot for a morning shop (as my friend did, lol). Everything was smooth, the room was wonderful and everyone was incredibly helpful. Spotlessly Clean.
I only said avarage for location because I'm not a city person but it was nice and central in walking distance from many places. Food was excellent I will definitely be back soon! Also, the Television in the bedroom didn’t receive any channels and only was able to play video “cast” to it from a tablet. Hyatt Place was very convenient to their location and allowed me to have that quiet time beginning and ending each day. Please see our partners for more details.
