1. I wish they both had another one or two episodes to them. Specifically coming to the fore this time around is the character of Lol played by the excellent Vicky McClure. Whilst the TV show is very good, it’s a lot more soapy and one-notes than the film. And Gadget gets a surprise when he meets Trudy's son Winston.

Just a shame to see them reduced to Shameless-esque humour at times but it does at least still feel mostly genuine and natural. It can get very gritty in parts, so I wouldn't recommend it for any sensitive / easily offended viewers.

Joseph Gilgun is so good in everything he does it’s a wonder he does American television *Preacher* at all. They say Christmas is a time for forgiving and for forgetting, a time of love and laughter and joy ever after. I'm from Brazil and don't know much about British accents. This is England.
