Whether you're eligible to vote in the April 28 Special Election depends on where you are registered to vote. A provisional ballot is a ballot issued to a person seeking to vote who might otherwise be denied the opportunity to vote a regular ballot. All Washington counties now vote by mail. You can find your voting center here. Voters who wish to vote in person are the only voters subject to ID requirements. Registration must be completed eight days in advance if done by mail or online. When a ballot question is submitted to your County Auditor by a city, town, or local district, that question (known as a resolution) calls for a "Special Election." Each county will have a voting center, which will be open during business hours beginning 18 days before the election and ending at 8pm on Election Day. One may register to vote online, by mail, or in-person at a county elections department. For non-countywide elections not all vote centers are open. The fourth Tuesday in April is Election Day for some voters, not all. A list of vote centers will be available about 30 days prior to each election. Vote centers are currently closed.
